Pooey.....

Well, shucks. Dallas Mavericks lost in the finals last night and the stinky Miami Heat went back to Florida with the championship. I think it would be easier to take had Shaq not been on the Miami team. I just don't care much for him. Oh well. The Mavs played an awesome game!
I'm hot! It is so humid out there. I went out to paint an old table I have and I'm wringing wet.
Later!

She got hitched

It was such a sweet and pretty ceremony. She didn't have any bridesmaids because she couldn't pick. I think that's sweet. I'm going to try to upload a picture.
Greg ended up not going and it knocked me out of my bacholerette party! I wonder if that was purposely done? Hmmmm.
Matt stayed up at my mom and dad's house. Mom is going to bring him home this weekend. It is kind of strange with just Ashley and myself here for most of the day. I really need to catch up on some cleaning. I needed some motivation and company coming this weekend was just what the dr. ordered.

Little House Comparairie...

My dad said that is how I use to say Little House on the Prairie when I was little. I am watching an episode right now and I always think of that. It's the one where the goat keeps ramming into everyone's arse! Funny.
Jeff finally got to start work today at Fossil. I'm kinda sad, kinda glad.
Well, we're heading up to Arkansas again tomorrow for my cousin's wedding. We'll have to go up again for my in-law's shin dig the Saturday before the 4th. After that visit, I believe I'll park it in Texas. Gas is so high and these trips add up!!

Never ending

House work is one of the never ending things in life. Maybe it'll be better when the kids are grown...well, I'll still have one kid (Greg) left even after my others are grown.
I'm making enchiladas for supper. Jeff loves them. I make it with the green sauce and sour cream so Greg will eat them. He doesn't like the red.
I am still doing the pharmacy courses but I think I'm ready to start back to the ol community college along with. I'll finish the pharmacy and finish my office tech. degree. I want to have school hours along with my kids.
Well, I think I've made up my mind (for today) about all of that.
Gotta check the enchiladas!

Erin's wedding

One of my favorite people is getting married this Saturday. The wedding is to be in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I've yet to meet her beau, but she's smitten. Young love is so sweet. I guess old love is too. The longer I'm with Greg seems like I love him more and more.
Its partly cloudy today and I'm praying for some rain.
I sent my cousin Tammy (who's daughter drowned in the lake) a card yesterday. I hope it lifts her spirits a bit. I wish I could do something more for her.

Soaker hoses

It is dry here once again. We put out soaker hoses around our whole house to make sure the foundation gets watered. Down here the foundations will shift easier compared to other places...something about the dirt. Anyway, we have a water restriction and aren't allowed to use excess water. However, we are allowed to water a little between 6:00pm and 10:00am. When I got back from Branson, my poor flowers were almost dead. I hope I saved them. The grass here is about halfway dead and crunchy already. Pretty depressing. I'm praying for some rain!

I'm back!

I started over with my blogs. I hate that I lost the others.

Let's see.....we just got back from a week of Branson entertainment. We went to Silver Dollar City for two days and we had a really good time. But, before we got there we went through a couple of bad experiences. First of all, I got a call Memorial weekend that my 5 year old cousin had drowned in Eufaula Lake. It was so devastating and her mom is having a very bad time dealing with it. She is in much need of prayers. I pray for her constantly. I went to the little girl's funeral and nothing hits home more than seeing a child the same age as yours lying in a casket. It was so terrible.
The next morning, I got a call from Greg (he was still here at home) and he got hit on his motorcycle by some retard on her cell phone. He got out of her way for the most part but he banged up his knee pretty bad. To top it all, the ignorant butthole lady gave him bogus insurance info. I think that's pretty cruddy to almost kill someone and then pull that! Anyway, his bike isn't too bad and neither is he. I'm grateful that the Lord spared his life.
Jeff is starting work this week with Greg. He is looking forward to it.
Matt and Ashley will be home with me. My pharmacy stuff is going well. I'm about half way through. To be honest, I don't know how soon I'll start working with it. I am thinking I'd like to work in the school system somehow. I know, I can't ever decide on anything (career-wise).
Need to get up and do some laundry.
